Crime:
In Oklahoma,
a person commits petit larceny when he/she takes property, other than
from the person of another, the value of which does not exceed $500.
Punishment:
Petit
Larceny is a misdemeanor punishable by up to six
(6) months imprisonment in the county jail and/or a fine between $10.00
and $500.

Definitions Grand larceny is larceny committed in either of the
following cases:
1. When the property taken is of value exceeding Five Hundred Dollars
($500.00).
2. When such property, although not of value exceeding Five Hundred
Dollars ($500.00), is taken from the person of another.
Larceny in other cases is petit larceny.

Section 1706 - Petit Larceny - Punishment
Petit larceny shall be punishable by a fine of not less than Ten Dollars
($10.00) or more than Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00), or imprisonment in
the county jail not to six (6) months, or by both such fine and
imprisonment, at the discretion of the court.
