Punishment for Larceny in Nighttime in Tulsa

Okla. Stat. tit. 21 § 1704

When it appears that such larceny was committed by stealing in the night time, from the person of another, the offender shall be guilty of a felony punishable by up to ten (10) years imprisonment in the State Penitentiary.

Chapter 68 – Larceny Section 1704 – Grand Larceny and Petit Larceny – Definitions

Grand larceny is larceny committed in either of the following cases:

1. When the property taken is of a value of One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00) or greater; or

2. When such property, although not of a value of One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00) or greater, is taken from the person of another.

Larceny in other cases is petit larceny.
