Helping Children Cope with Divorce - Parents involved in divorces with minor children or paternity actions in Tulsa, Rogers, Wagoner, Mayes, Pawnee, Washington, Osage, Nowata, and Craig Counties must complete a course in Helping Children Cope with Divorce or When Parents Live Apart.

Drug & Alcohol Assessments - If you are charged with a drug or alcohol related driving offense in Oklahoma, you will be required to compete a drug and alcohol assessment.  The Kania Law Office recommends Human Skills & Resources, Inc., which charges $75.00 for the Drug & Alcohol Assessment necessary for the Court and $175.00 for the Drug & Alcohol Assessment necessary for the court and for the Department of Public Safety for drivers' license reinstatement.  The assessment takes between two (2) and two and a half (2.5) hours to complete and the results will be available the same day as the assessment, so long as payment is made in full.

Credit Counseling Information -  A Certificate of Completion of Credit Counseling is mandatory prior to filing for Bankruptcy under the new code.  In addition to the Credit Counseling, before a Bankruptcy debt can be discharged the applicant must complete a mini- course on Personal Financial Management.

Kelly Blue Book - When filing for bankruptcy, use Kelly Blue Book to estimate the value of your vehicle(s).  Oklahoma law provides an exemption for a person's vehicle if it is valued at $7,500.00 or less.  Okla. Stat. tit. 31, § 1(A)(13) (2005).
