In what other circumstances can my case get dismissed?
There are many ways to get your bankruptcy case dismissed. Not complying with the bankruptcy requirements is one of them. If a deadline is set to file your financial management certificate, meet that deadline or the case will be dismissed. Making false statements on your bankruptcy paperwork is another way to get your case dismissed. Don't try to conceal assets or refuse to produce documents that are requested. It is a safe rule of thumb that if you don't work with the Trustee or lie on your paperwork you run the risk of a dismal if not worse.
